How to add a new blog post in WordPress

1. Log into your WordPress Admin Dashboard
2. In top menu bar > Hover over “+New” button > Select “Post”
   
3. A new post will appear > Enter a title > Click “Save Draft” or “Publish”

Add a Featured Image

1. In Right Sidebar > Click “Post” tab
2. Click “Featured Image”
   
3. Choose a featured image from your library
4. Click “Update”

Change your blog post category

1. In Right Sidebar > Click “Post” tab
2. In the Right sidebar > Click “Categories”
3. Assign post to existing category OR create a new category & assign to post
4. Click “Update” button
   

Edit global blog categories

For example: if you have a bunch of posts in a category, but want to change the name of the category

1. Log into your WordPress Admin Dashboard
2. Go to Left Menu > Click “Posts” > Click “Categories”
   
3. From here, you can create new categories or edit existing categories.
